What makes the Chelan AVA so special?
AVA stands for American Viticultural Area, and getting recognized as one is a rigorous process. You have to be able to prove that the soil and land features distinguish the grapes grown in that area from others. So having our very own AVA in Chelan is a big deal! The wines produced from the Chelan area are so popular that people travel across the world to try them. Tsillan Cellars
Hours: Thursday-Saturday, 12-6pm; Sunday 11am-5pm
Tsillan Cellars produces 100% estate grown wines, which means all the wines you’ll taste were grown right here in the Chelan valley! Now, you can enjoy a fireside wine tasting and delicious food at Tsillan’s outdoor pavilion. Take in the stunning views while sipping wine and you’ll quickly understand why people love Chelan wines.
Siren Song
Hours: Thursday-Monday, 3-7pm
Siren Song offers wines from 3 collections: Classic, Reserve, and Grand Cru. We all know pairing wine with food is one of the best ways to experience a wine tasting, and Siren Song doesn’t disappoint! Their menu is made from scratch in-house daily and you can enjoy the food and wine in the heated outdoor tent.
Karma Vineyards
Hours: Friday-Sunday, 1-4pm
With 14 acres, Karma Vineyards offers a variety of wines, and was the first vineyard in Chelan to cane prune Pinot Noir grapes. Karma is also known for their excellent Champagne. Gather ’round the fire pits with glasses of bubbly and take in the view!
Lake Chelan Winery
Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 11am-6pm; Friday-Saturday, 11am-7pm
This apple-orchard-turned-vineyard has been rooted in Lake Chelan for decades. The award-winning wines you’ll find at Lake Chelan Winery are exclusive and varied, with something for everyone. Enjoy an outdoor tasting, and if you’re visiting in the summer, the BBQ in the Vineyard!
