Lake Chelan Wine Tasting: Your Guide

There are many incredible vineyards and wineries in Lake Chelan, which means there are also plenty of places to go wine tasting in Lake Chelan! Our guide highlights some of our favorite stops in the area.

What makes Lake Chelan wine so good?

Lake Chelan is actually a certified American Viticultural Area. This means that Chelan has been recognized as a designated wine grape-growing reason. Being an AVA means that the geographic conditions in the area are better for growing wine grapes than other, non-AVA areas. Because of this, the wine produced here is often sought out as superior wines.

Every year, people come from all over the world to taste the wines made in Chelan. You can join them when you go Lake Chelan Wine Tasting!
