Chelan Valley Farms is our local resource for apple picking. This family-owned farm grows a variety of foods and flowers throughout the year, and the naturally rich soil helps produce produce like no other. Here, you can pick Gala, Fuji, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, and Cosmic Crisp apples.
When does Chelan apple picking start?
Apple picking is a perfect fall activity, and Chelan is no exception to this! Apple picking season begins in September and typically runs through October. However, the best weeks for apples are late September to early October. This is when you’ll get the prime pick of apples!
Is there anything else to do besides apple picking?
Of course! If you visit in October, you can pick pumpkins alongside apples! Or, if you don’t want to bring a pumpkin home with you, you can still enjoy the fall decorations and the Chelan Valley Farms Harvest Festival. You can also experience the beauty of locally-grown flowers at Chelan Valley Farms. Make a reservation for U-Pick flowers and pick your very own bouquet! In September and October, there are still plenty of flowers growing, including Sunflowers, Zinnias, Lavender, Lilies, Mums, and more.
