Small Town Holidays 2021 is coming to Chelan and it’s all about that holiday cheer! Visit the Lake Chelan Valley this holiday season and discover the magic of beautiful lights, festive businesses, special events, and more. Learn all about this year’s event and how you can experience it.
When is Small Town Holidays 2021?
Small Town Holidays kicks off on November 26, 2021 and runs through January 1, 2022.
Where is this event?
This nearly month-long holiday celebration takes place in various locations throughout the Chelan Valley. Visit local shops, restaurants, wineries and more to discover the magic of small town holidays in Chelan.
What is there to do?
Throughout the holiday event, you’ll be able to enjoy festive holiday celebrations throughout the valley. Local boutiques and restaurants will be all decorated for the holiday season, twinkling lights will adorn the Valley, and each weekend you’ll be able to watch a dazzling fireworks display.
You can see the full schedule of events here, but these are some of the events we’re most looking forward to:
- Enjoy hot spiced hard cider at the Rootwood Cider Orchard. This cider is made fresh with local Chelan apples and is perfect for warming you up on cold winter days!
- See Santa around town throughout the festival. As he makes various appearances throughout the season, you might even spot his sleigh riding through your neighborhood.
- Stroll through town during the Winter Solstice Luminary Walk. This self-led walk will take you through downtown Chelan, Riverwalk Park, and up to Old Bridge. As you walk, you’ll be able to take in the sights of over 1,000 luminaries lit up. The walk lasts from 5 – 8 pm.
- Holidays Around the World transports you around the globe without ever leaving Chelan! When you visit local businesses during Small Town Holidays, you can enjoy food and drink from countries around the world. Each location will highlight a different country and you can learn about each country’s holiday traditions!
Turn the small town holidays into a vacation
When you visit Chelan for the Small Town Holidays 2021 festival, stay local! Stay at Lakeside Lodge and Suites and get a front row seat for certain events. Lakeside Lodge is directly across the street from Lakeside Park, which is a prime viewing location for the Holiday Light Boat Parade and the weekend fireworks!
